The proposal arises from the intention to transform the traditional experience of a dental clinic into a welcoming, serene, and approachable space.
The space is conceived as an open and organized sequence, where light and materiality define the experience. Natural wood structures the whole and provides continuity, while textiles and neutral tones create comfort and serenity.
From the entrance, the waiting area is presented as a warm, domestic environment, removed from the conventional clinical character. The reception is articulated through pure volumes and mineral materials, in contrast with the warmth of the surroundings.
The treatment areas maintain the functional requirements of a clinic while incorporating the same material and lighting sensitivity. The aim is to reduce patient unease and create a more human-centered environment.
Light, both natural and artificial, is treated with special care. Openings are maximized to bring natural light into common areas, while artificial lighting is designed with indirect and adjustable sources, avoiding harsh contrasts.
The result is a clinic that moves away from conventional codes and proposes a new way of understanding healthcare spaces: more approachable, warmer, and designed for people.
