Complete reform of a highly luminous penthouse and two privileged terraces overlooking the city.
The purpose of the project is to remove the walls while generating a central space pivoted around the kitchen. Some wood panels are introduced to allow parts of the space to be partitioned depending on the needs of the zone.
On one side, a wooden box is created giving a cosy and intimate space; and on the other, by moving and opening up the panels we achieve a visual connection with the kitchen and create an ideal place to come together with friends around the island.
The spaces are combined making them appear and disappear depending on the preferences of their owners. A versatility which enables the home to become a social nucleus when required or a refuge when that’s what is needed.
The common theme of the project is determined by the materials used; the oak and walnut woods and the fine materials such as the different types of porcelains and stones. All of them are gradually discovered throughout the different spaces and provide the durability and naturalness that the permeates through the proposal.
